Annual ConferenceCountry Press NSW Inc conducts an annual conference for members. This is normally held in October or November.
Conferences are an occasion for all members to receive first hand information about our activities, industry news, discuss challenges, new technology and compare newspaper markets throughout New South Wales.
Guest speakers are well received and sourced from amongst the most influential people in Australia. These have included prime ministers, state premiers (and of course their political counterparts), industry CEO’s and leaders in our own industry – including metropolitan newspapers and other media.
The social aspects are never forgotten. Networking is high on everyone’s agenda and of course the announcement of newspaper competition awards is a highlight presented at a gala dinner.
